TYPES OF ROMANCE

Narrative Designer, Writer, Programmer.

A 70’s manga inspired typing-game dating sim. Woo the lady (or gentleman) of your dreams. But beware your words - you might reduce them to tears!

The goal of this project was to experiment with storytelling while using typing as a main mechanic. The writing focused on melodrama and tongue-in-cheek humor.

Created using Unity. Featured at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival, WordPlay, and the Montreal International Games Summit!

THE ROMANCE THEOREM

Narrative Designer & Writer

An anti-dating sim exploring toxic relationships and cycles of happiness.

When developing The Romance Theorem, I was interested in challenging conventional relationship mechanics. In this game, sustaining the protagonist's relationship, or choosing the "right" answer, undermines their self-esteem and ultimately traps them in an unfulfilling romance.
